The Journey – Day 5

Happy Friday everyone.  I hope your day was as good as mine; work was great; my nutrition was great; my workout was great; I had a great evening with my wife and daughter. So, as you can see, overall I had a great day.

It was hot, hot, hot today, but it only made the workout that much more intense, yet fun.  Here’s what I did…

Warm-up:  Double-Unders, Rower, jumping jacks, mt. climbers, spiderman crawls, Frankenstein walks, Squats, and Push-ups

Strength:  Cluster (squat clean thruster)

Metcon: As Fast As Possible (AFAP)… 10 Burpee over Box, 20 TTB, 30 Wall Balls, 40 HSPU, 30 Wall Balls, 20 TTB, 10 Burpee over Box

12:30 PM

  • AdvoCare Fiber (1 packet)
  • Chipotle Salad Bowl (Black Beans, Chicken, Mild Salsa, ½ Scoop Hot Salsa, Corn Salsa, Guacamole, Cheese, and Tabasco Chipotle sauce) (40g F, 56g C, 51g P = 790 calories)

 

3:30 PM

  • Mingua Beef Jerky (1 serving) (1g F, 1g C, 18g P)

 

5:00 PM

  • Workout

 

6:45 PM

  • Multi-grain bread (2 pieces) (.5g F, 16g C, 5g P)
  • Turkey Breast (3 servings) (3g F, 9g C, 30g P)
  • Cheese Slice (1 piece) (2.5g F, 2g C, 4g P)

 

8:45 PM

  • MTS Whey – Cookies & Cream (1 serving) (3.5g F, 6g C, 25g P)
  • Cool Whip Lite (2 servings) (2g F, 6g C, 0g P)
  • Banana (1 medium) (0g F, 27g C, 1g P)
